Through our relationship with the Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs), our CEO Norman Tenray frequently works with executives from international advertising powerhouse Saatchi and Saatchi, including their Global CEO Kevin Roberts and who was recently named as the BIBAs first patron, so it’s only natural that we’re interested in the development and construction of their new offices in central London.

The developer responsible for the construction project, Derwent London, has recently announced Brookfield Multiplex is the preferred bidder for the Saatchi & Saatchi project which is due to start later this year.

It’s believed that Brookfield Multiplex has been selected over the other main bidders in the process BAM Construct and Mace and will now be given the opportunity to develop the 367,000 sq ft mixed use development.

The building contract for 80 Charlotte Street in Fitzrovia is expected to come in at around £125m and the development will contain mixed office and residential spaces which have been designed by architects Make.

As well as being a mixed use development, the construction project will also see part of the existing structures redeveloped with part of the development being a new build in order to cut down on building supplies, carbon emissions and waste during the construction phase.
