Farran Construction are inviting sub-contractors in the Coventry area to meet up to discover the ways to win work in their future construction projects in the area.

The event takes place tomorrow and is being hosted by Constructionline at The Welcome Centre in Coventry.

Farrans projects in the area will be detailed, along with insights into the procurement process, whilst key members of the team will be at the event for networking and Q&As.

Scott McVey from Constructionline said: “Supplier Engagement Days are designed to give small businesses the chance to meet with major construction companies, which can otherwise be hard to access.

“Often both groups are keen to work with one another so giving large firms like Farrans a platform to talk about their upcoming opportunities and letting sub-contractors know how they can best work together, is hugely valuable in starting the process.”

John Wilson, Managing Director of Farrans Construction, added: “As a reputable contractor we are committed to supporting the local economy in the areas in which we work and investing in the local workforce, suppliers and subcontractors.

“This event not only gives us the opportunity to extend our supply chain but we’re delighted that it will also create opportunities for local individuals and businesses.”

There’s no need to be members of Constructionline and suppliers can turn up between 10am and 3pm
