The Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) is looking for members of the public to take part in a short survey to find out how sage the UK’s plumbing and heating systems are.

CIPHE is also providing handy tips at the end of the survey to ensure householders understand the best course of action to take should they need to get a plumber of heating installer out for a job.

Danny Davis, Operations Manager for the CIPHE says: “We know from feedback from members, that they have to carry out a lot of rectification work. Some of this is through botched DIY jobs or using an unqualified or inexperienced plumber in the first place. In some cases, this has caused a health hazard.

“As a professional body and an educational charity, we are trying to raise awareness of the health and safety issues associated with unmaintained plumbing and heating systems.”

Supplying a large number of plumbers and heating installers around the UK with a wide range of quality plumbing supplies we'll be taking a great interest in the outcome of this survey.

The CIPHE are calling for members of the industry to further promote their survey - which can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=XrgD3pQj31QPaoaD0tnFbQ%3d%3d
